IN THE END, WE ALL BECOME STORIES — AND THIS IS Part of Mine.

In 2020, Ashley emailed me asking if she could shadow a wedding (I was in my 4th year as a professional wedding photographer at the time). The world felt a little upside down then — the industry included — and what started as mentorship quickly turned into friendship. We were creating, learning, and figuring things out side-by-side during a season when connection mattered more than ever.

By early 2022, that friendship grew into My Whole Heart Collective — a shared space built on trust, curiosity, and the belief that this work doesn’t have to be done alone. During those years, many weddings were photographed with both of us present as lead photographers, which is why you’ll see both of our names reflected throughout parts of my extended portfolio.

Within the partnership, my heart lived deeply in weddings and post-production. I edited the majority of the work from this season — editing has always been one of my favorite parts of photography and the place where my voice feels the most like me. It’s where stories soften, moments breathe, and everything comes together.

As life shifted and our locations grew farther apart, we made the intentional decision to return to our individual brands. It was a natural evolution — one rooted in respect, gratitude, and a lot of love for what we built together during that time.

Today, all weddings booked through Nicole Kilday Photography are photographed and edited by me. You’ll also find full galleries at the top of this page that were photographed and edited entirely by me — those are linked intentionally, so you can see exactly what that experience looks like from start to finish.

Because at the end of the day, this work has always been about people, connection, and showing up with our whole hearts.
